An outstanding American professional, she us in charge of coordinating and directing the Business department of Santillán clients abroad, especially with the United States of America and Canada. Heather provides immigration assistance to citizens of such countries, leveraging her professional relationships established and legal background.

Her multidisciplinary training has transcends the legal field, as she has ventured into consulting on educational, environmental, oil and mining projects nationwide, assisting various private non-profit entities, as well as companies working in such areas.

As part of her personal commitment to transfering knowledge, she has worked as a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, as well as in other entities.

Heather has a very active presence in the professional market for legal and technical translation and interpretation, English-Spanish, Spanish-English, Spanish-Portuguese and Portuguese-Spanish. She is president of the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ecuador (ATIEC) and has been an expert translator/interpreter for the the Judiciary Council since 2014.
