From 2015 to date, Monserrat has been a key member of Santillán Abogados in the city of Quito, as a Senior Associate.

Her professional practice is oriented toward advising in the areas of civil, corporate, tax and public procurement law, actively participating in highly relevant operations and projects in the national corporate market. In addition, she serves as General Manager of the firm's real estate department, where her able leadership guides a team of multidisciplinary professionals who work to ensure the success of national real estate projects, working with major financial entities in the public and private sectors, construction companies, and real estate developers.

She has a Master’s Degree in Private Property Law from the University of Salamanca and a Senior Specialist Degree in Taxation from the Simón Bolívar Andean University. This training has contributed to her becoming a solid, trustworthy lawyer who is more than prepared to deal with the daily challenges that Santillán Abogados’s clients face.
